Finally getting to leaving a review for the oaks. First off I feel like everyone in the office is a part of our family. The ladies in the office immediately run for my children and love on them anytime we go to the office. Anytime my fiancÃ© and I have a issue or questions or even need help theyâre always going above and beyond to make sure our family is okay. Weâve lived here on and off for years and I have no complaints. Mellisa, Kristen and Laura are wonderful. Maintenance is also super professional and go above and beyond. Cody (employee of the oaks) is super friendly and seems to be a awesome Fit here. Iâm great full for the team here at the oaks, and the comfortable environment they provide for the families that reside here.

My move in date was pushed back twice but thatâs not even my issue with this property because i know things happen during the turn. Kristen was so nice to me until the keys were in my hand and i get to my apartment and itâs DIRTY, AND DISGUSTING! I called the office and Kristen told me â if youâre not happy with the apartment you can just return the keysâ of course i wasnât going to back out of my lease and get stuck with fees because they chose not to do their part! I didnât even want to give the 1 star but google made me do it!

Iâve lived here for about 2 years now. The office NEVER comes out and fixes any problems with the units. I had a toilet that would never stop flowing for about 6 months. Called the office 2 about it and never heard anything back both times which later caused it to overflow and flood my entire master bedroom. They told me I would be responsible for the $13,000 worth of damages even though i was not at fault. They left my carpet ripped up for almost 2 months with exposed nails on the floor with a 2 year old child running around the apartment. I asked the office several times why my carpet wasnât fixed yet and they said due to Covid everything is backed up yet same day they were replacing a VACANT APARTMENTS carpet. I finally told them I was going to have to call austin tenant council if it was not fixed and the manager did not like that. They fixed the apartment right away and gave me a lease termination to be out within 3 days. My move out date was Christmas. I liked my apartment for the size it was even though my garbage disposal never worked my dishwasher stoped working at the beginning of last year had about 3 wall outlets that didnât work and water constantly dropped from the ceiling in my main bathroom causing mold to constantly grow in the bathtub. (Both bathtubs also peeled leaving an ugly yellow bathtub in both bathrooms) definitely worst experience in apartment living. Donât do it to yourself thereâs a reason they constantly have move in specials.

I have been very impressed with office staff! They went the extra mile to help me. Iâd recommend the Oaks to anyone.Cody is a really good Mantenice personnel he is on time every time you need.
